Carlingwood Badminton Club is a friendly club whose members know each other all on a first-name basis. Social interaction between games is generally quite fun and plentiful. The level of play at Carlingwood Badminton Club is largely determined by the applicants who apply for membership. In general, our Club has beginner to advanced level players, with the majority being at the intermediate level. More experienced or long-term club members are very helpful in offering some basic badminton instruction and tips on court strategy and techniques to newer or less-experienced players.

As a member of the Ottawa and District Badminton Association (ODBA), our club has access to a number of resources available through them. Members who want to advance their level of play are also encouraged to take badminton instructional courses that are available at Routhier Community Centre with Dominic Soong and Janet Hugli.

If you are interested in more advanced levels of play or competitive play, especially at "A" or "B" levels, please keep this in mind when registering with our club.
