Haverford College, one of the top liberal arts institutions in the USA, is one of the few colleges which offers badminton as an intercollegiate sport. High School league players are actively encouraged to consider Haverford for their studies.
The team competes in January and February in League matches and in major tournaments. Jay
Nicholas, the coach, has thirty years of experience and is also an active competitor in
the sport. The Athletics Department provides generous funding, support and heartfelt
encouragement.
