USD120 THOUSAND IN TRAVEL GRANTS AVAILABLE FOR WORLD JUNIORS

August 16, 1996 (D.Shuttlenws) - The International Badminton Federation
will be spending approximately USD120 thousand to encourage worldwide
participation at the World Junior Badminton Championships, scheduled for
Silkeborg in Denmark from November 19 to 24, 1996.

The USD120 thousand will be allocated to the badminton associations of
those countries participating in the championships, except the host
country. The funds are to assist the visiting countries with their travel
expenses to the tournament.
