Kuala Lumpur, May 21: Teen sensation Taufik Hidayat helped Indonesia smash their way to their 12th Thomas Cup title with a 3-0 over China in the final today at the Putra Stadium.

Taufik scored the winning point by defeating Japan Open winner Ji Xinpeng 15-9, 17-14. The victory gave Indonesia their fourth consecutive title win after wresting the Cup back from Malaysia in 1994.
