1997 K & D Graphics U.S. National Badminton Championships
General Information
The 1997 K & D Graphics U.S. National Badminton Championships will feature
top American players, including 1996 Olympian Kevin Han. The athletes will
be vying for national titles and $10,000 in prize money. This tournament
will take place April 3-6 at the Orange County Badminton Club in Orange, CA.
Play will include Men's and Women's Singles, Men's and Women's Doubles and
Mixed Doubles. This exciting 4-day event will culminate with all the
Finals being played on Sunday, April 6th.
The tournament will be donating all the income from ticket sales to The
United Cerebral Palsy Association of Orange County. Ticket prices are $5
each day for April 3rd, 4th, and 5th. The Finals held on Sunday, April 6th
will cost $10. A $20 GOLD PASS will allow admission for all four days.
SCBA and USAB members will receive a $1 DISCOUNT OFF general admission each
day and a $5 DISCOUNT OFF the GOLD PASS. Special group tickets are available

The 40,300 sq. ft. Orange County Badminton Club is the largest, most modern
Badminton facility in the Western Hemisphere. This fully air conditioned
state-of-the-art complex boasts 18 courts, a 32 foot ceiling, full Pro Shop,
Player Lounge, world class coaching staff and a seating capacity for 1,900.
