Bill Pickthorn

ASSISTANT OLYMPIC COMPETITION MANAGER.

Pickthorn, of Palo Alto, Calif., has held many functions with the USBA, including running national tournaments and serving as USBA International Competitions Committee Chair. In March of 1995, Pickthorn was Team Leader for badminton at the Pan American Games.

As assistant competitions manager for the 1996 Olympic badminton competition, Pickthorn's duties will include working with the Competition Manager in all functional areas of the Olympic Games, as well as providing support to the rest of the staff during the games.
