Steve Kearney

USBA TREASURER & OLYMPIC COMPETITION MANAGER.

Steve Kearney, named USBA Treasurer in April, 1995, is also Disabled Sports Committee chair, as well as the badminton competition manager for the 1996 Olympic Games. As competition manager, Kearney will coordinate all logistics for the badminton competition -- including management of management of the venues, schedules and hotels, etc.

Kearney of Dunwood, Ga., was tournament director for the 1994- 1995 Yonex U.S. Opens, the 1995 U.S. National Championships, as well as the 1994 Georgia State Games. He is a former collegiate men's doubles champion and Northern California junior champion.
