FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE JANUARY 28, 1996 BACH AND WO FALL IN SEMIFINALS AT BC BADMINTON OPEN (COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.) -- 1995 Junior National doubles champions Howard Bach (S. San Francisco, Calif.) and Stanley Wo (Daly City, Calif.) fell in defeat today at the 1996 BC Open, as they were defeated by Canada's Michael Beres and Brian Moody 15- 4, 15-8 in the men's doubles semifinal. Wo and Bach were they only U.S. team to advance to the semis. The British Columbia Open (January 26-28, Vancouver, B.C., CAN) is a Canadian National Team qualifer which is held in conjunction with the Devlin Cup (U.S. vs. Canada Team Tournament).
