U.S. AGAIN EXITS EARLY AT 1996 ERICSSON SWEDISH BADMINTON OPEN =

(COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.) -- It was another tough tournament for
U.S. badminton, as no athletes advanced past the first round of
the 1996 Ericsson Swedish Open (March 6-10, Malmo).  The U.S.
will have little time to sulk however, as they immediately head
to Birmingham, England to compete at the most prestigious
badminton tournament in the world, the Yonex All-England
Championships (March 10-16).
