DAILY U.S. BADMINTON OLYMPIC PRESS RELEASE - 5 DAYS 'TIL THE GAMES

PRE-OLYMPIC TRAINING CONTINUES IN MILLEDGEVILLE, GEORGIA

(ATLANTA, Ga.) - Pre-Olympic badminton training is in full swing at
Georgia College's Centennial Center, as nine countries (Canada,
Denmark, France, Germany, New Zealand, Russia, Suriname, Switzerland,
United States) prepare for the challenge of the Olympic badminton
competition (July 24 - August 1).  

Team USA's Kevin Han (Colorado Springs, Colo.), Erika Von Heiland
(Anaheim, Calif.), and Linda French (Elmhurst, Ill.), along with 1996
All-England champion Poul-Erik Hoyer-Larsen (DEN) (IBF #2), and
Canada's Denyse Julien (IBF #27) headline the star-studded practices,
which are open to all media (INCLUDING NON-RIGHTS HOLDERS) and public.
The following is the remaining camp schedule, which will conclude on
Wednesday, July 17.

Monday, July 15 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. - Denmark, France

10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - Canada, Russia, New Zealand

11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. - USA, Germany, Switzerland, Suriname

Directions to the Georgia College Centennial Center: From Downtown
Atlanta, take I-75 South to I-20 East.  Take I-20 East to State
Highway 441 South (Exit 51) to Milledgeville.  Once in Millegeville,
stay on 441 (Columbia Street) all the way to the Georgia College
Centennial Center Parking Lot.
