Coaching and Coaches

Updated February 1997

Badminton coaching in Herts is actively promoted.   The formal badminton courses can divided into those for players, often called 'Personal Performance' courses (junior and adult), and courses for those who wish to coach.

Juniors above improver level receive coaching through the structure of the Herts Schools Badminton Association.

Special courses can be arranged for groups, clubs and for teachers.  The photo on the right shows John Smith, U14 Manager and coach, showing teachers the basic elements of coaching juniors in schools.

The coaches below are listed by location in alphabetical order: they can be contacted directly. Other coaches are available and can be contacted through Herts Coaches Secretary, David Bartlett (01438 715374), Dave_Bartlett@msn.Com .
