DIFFERENT INDONESIAN OPEN RESULTS FROM IBF

September 3, 1996 (New Shuttlenws) - The International Badminton
Federation has released finals results from the Sony Indonesian Open
that differ from those that New Shuttlenws published on the basis of
field reports.

According to the IBF report, Antonius and Denny Kantono of Indonesia
defeated Fery Hartono and Ridwan Achmad, also of Indonesia, 15-3 15-1
in the men's doubles finals.

(New Shuttlenws had reported Antonius and Kantono as the victors over
Halim and Davis 15-3 and 15-10).

Also according to the IBF report, Trikus Heryanto and Minarti Timur beat
Nimpele Flandy and Rosalina Riseau 15-0 15-1 in the mixed doubles final.

(New Shuttlenws had reported the scores in the mixed doubles final as
15-8 and 15-1).
