Carlton 1997 Northern California Junior Championships

A Badminton Tournament at Piner High School ,1700 Fulton Road, Santa Rosa CA.

Carlton, Piner High School Badminton Team, and Santa Rosa Badminton Club.

Sanctioned by

USBA. All players must be USBA members ( membership available at the tournament) or must pay one-time membership fee.

Events

All ages are based on the calendar year per USBA standard. Singles, Doubles and Mixed doubles in all flights. Some may be combined based upon draw.

• U10 - date of birth on or after JAN 1, 1987
• U12 - date of birth on or after JAN 1, 1985
• U14 - date of birth on or after JAN 1, 1983
• U16 - date of birth on or after JAN 1, 1981
• U19 - date of birth on or after JAN 1, 1978

Starting Time

Will be sent to all entrants. Times will depend upon the draw but will nominally be Sat 9AM for Singles, Sat 1PM for Mixed Doubles and Sunday 9AM for Doubles. Events will finish on the day that they start.

Format

Depending upon the size of each draw, events will be Single Elimination with a consolation round or Round Robin.

Entry Fees

$5.00 per event per person.

Official Tournament Shuttle

CARLTON Aerogear feather shuttles will be provided for all matches.

PLEASE: all entries must be received by APRIL 26,1997. Late entries may not be accepted, as they complicate the draw.

damage to, or for loss of property  incurred during the course of
